For 68% of the collectors, collecting recyclable waste is their only activity.

For 95% of the collectors, collecting plastic waste is the main source of their income.

41% of the collectors declared that their financial situation was difficult before collecting plastic for RRE, and 77% of the same collectors declared that their financial situation has improved since collecting plastic for RRE.

RRE actively supports local communities on islands and coastal areas in their efforts to collect plastic waste.

With the help of sponsorships and grants, RRE collaborates with these communities to develop impactful projects aimed at combating marine plastic pollution.
